We are excited to report that Chef Randy Morgan has accepted the position of Executive Sous Chef at Hibiscus, the hip, well-respected Henderson Avenue restaurant in Dallas, Texas. Recently, Chef Morgan took some time to sit down and talk with us. Randy is known to readers of Bon Appetit magazine through an article published Winter 2009 praising his talents. Our interview goes way beyond his current gig - tracing his roots from childhood in LA, through the Seattle and NY restaurant scenes (and back!). And, we reveal why Chef Morgan's hero is - Slash!?!
